In a world where safety is a precious commodity, the Women's Club of our college took a bold step towards empowerment by organizing a self-defense class. This was not just a physical training session, but a holistic experience that delved into the harsh realities faced by women.

The morning session began with a sobering discussion led by female police officers, who shared their experiences witnessing cases of violence against women. Their firsthand accounts served as a poignant reminder of the importance of being vigilant and prepared.

Despite the somber tone, the officers transitioned seamlessly into the afternoon session, where the focus shifted to empowerment through practical self-defense techniques. With expertise honed through their professional experiences, they guided us through various moves and tricks designed to protect ourselves in dangerous situations.

The hands-on approach made the session truly impactful. We actively participated, practicing techniques under the officers' watchful eyes. From basic strikes to advanced maneuvers, we learned to assert ourselves physically and mentally.

But it wasn't just about physical prowess. Throughout the class, the officers emphasized the importance of confidence, awareness, and assertiveness. They taught us to trust our instincts, be vocal in asserting our boundaries, and never underestimate our own strength.
